Evaluation of the Fear of Covid-19 and Hygiene Behaviors of Municipal Employees

The study was conducted to examine the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and hygiene behaviors municipal employees. descriptive cross-sectional this on 283 individuals who were employees municipality southwestern region Turkey. Fear Scale Hygiene used for data collection. It found that total score determined be 21.15±6.31, 105.04±19.76. A positive moderate statistically significant correlation scales (r=0.389; p<.050). most important variables affecting behavior in first place (Beta=0.30), education level (Beta=0.27), status (Beta=0.13 at second place). mean higher married individuals, those with low levels, chronic diseases, whose relatives diagnosed COVID-19. In addition, lower divorced income before. concluded variable COVID-19, as increased, compliance increased.
